DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I should have payed attention to the reviews, but I actually had success with this company once, only to find return business isn't always a promise of good things to come. A very rude and condescending service person showed up to our place for an appointment made days in advance. He quoted prices that were grossly inflated from our last purchase, tried to sell us security when we kept trying to keep him on track for re-keying locks, told us he didn't even have the proper equipment to do the job (????) and said it wouldn't be available until Monday, which is a holiday, so he was wrong about that, and when we told him we had receipts showing his price quotes were outrageous and very inflated from the last service, he rudely told us to "fine. get them". I thought to myself "that sounded a bit confrontational" I mean we are talking double the last visit and I'm sure he smelled money and sized us up as being able to afford it, which is why he inflated the cost. Feeling distrust already, I thought who cares if I get a better price, I STILL don't want to do business with this guy. He seemed very sketchy. At this point we'd had enough and I told him to "hit the road". He promptly left, then sat in his van for 5 minutes on the phone before returning. He then informed us his boss said we owed them $45 for the visit! Now, we would totally pay any visitation fees quoted at the time the appointment was made, there was never a discussion of a visitation fee. EVER. As a matter of fact we never even spoke to the owner, we called the number for the last techinician that came by and got the one that showed up that day. So if it WAS policy, he didn't do his job to tell us about the fee when we called. This guy was so mad we told him to leave that he called his boss and he decided we owed him. He even threatened to call the cops, so I did it for him. And he even said they would believe him over me because he was a locksmith!? I called his boss after calling the cops and from speaking to his boss, I was sure he decided to charge us $45 because he thought I was rude. Turns out the employee quoted me to his boss when I told him to "take a hike". When I said he never told me about a fee for the visit, his reply was "well, you were rude". I told the owner his karma would be bad for trying to sell off a lie to the cops. No business in this economy should be in the business of dishonesty. Needless to say, his worker drove off minutes later. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE "FRIENDLY RESPONSE FROM THE OWNER I spoke to him directly today and he was so very rude. I can't believe there aren't more complaints.
